About Hapeville Junk Removal

We're a junk removal company based in Hapeville, GA, working in homes across the south side of the metro. Most of our calls come from people clearing out after a move, finishing a remodel, or finally dealing with a garage that stopped holding a car years ago.

We built the business around one habit: setting down the scope and price before the work starts. It takes a few extra minutes and saves the argument at the end of the job. If something comes up mid-job, like a second freezer in the carport, we stop and ask before loading it.

What We Haul Away

Most jobs fall into one of eight kinds of work, from a single recliner to a full basement cleanout. Each one has its own weight, access, and disposal issues, and the service pages below explain them. Our company is enrolled in E-Verify, so the crew carrying things out of your home is verified as eligible to work. Every job starts the same way: a scope and price you approve before anything leaves the property.

What Sets Your Price

Most of a junk removal price comes from the truck space your items take up and what proper disposal costs. Two piles that look the same can price differently depending on what's in them. These are the things we weigh when we set your number.

We can do your free estimate by phone from a description or photos, or on site when the job is large or hard to judge. Both ways, the scope and price are in writing before loading starts.

Truck space
Nothing affects the price more than how much of the truck bed your load takes up. A loveseat with two lamps uses a small slice. A garage full of bikes, boxes and shelving can take most of it.
Heavy materials
Concrete, brick, tile, roofing shingles and wet drywall weigh much more per cubic foot than furniture. Since disposal sites charge by weight, we price those loads accordingly.
How far we carry
A ground-floor garage with its door open goes fast. A basement with a narrow stairwell or a bedroom set on the second floor takes more people and more time to move safely.
Items with disposal rules
Window AC units, freezers and refrigerators contain refrigerant that must be recovered before the metal can be recycled. Tires and mattresses come with their own handling costs as well.
Taking things apart
A sectional, a hot tub cover or a swing set anchored in the yard may not make it through a doorway whole. When tools are needed to break something down, your estimate notes it.

From Your Call to a Swept Floor

Nearly every job runs in four steps. The sign-off in step two keeps everything after it predictable.

  1. 1

    Describe the job

Call and tell us what the items are, where they are in your home, and about any stairs or tight corners. Bigger cleanouts can get a free, no-obligation on-site estimate.

  2. 2

Sign off on scope and price

You get the scope and price in writing, with the items and any special handling listed. Depending on the schedule, same-day and next-day service is available.

  3. 3

    Loading with care

Our crew pads doorways, carries everything out, and breaks down whatever needs it. Items not on the list stay where they are unless you approve them.

  4. 4

    Sweeping and sorting

We sweep the cleared space and deliver reusable furniture and recyclable metal where they belong, keeping more out of the landfill.

Questions We Hear Often

How is a junk removal job priced?
Mainly by how much room your items take up in the truck, then adjusted for heavy materials and items with disposal rules, such as mattresses and refrigerators. Access counts as well, like stairs or a long walk from a backyard shed. Every factor that affects the price is in your estimate before work begins.
Can the price go up after the crew shows up?
Not for anything on the approved list. Items added on job day are priced on their own, and we get your okay before loading them. We never tack on charges for stairs or sweeping afterward.
Do you charge for estimates?
No. Plenty of jobs can be priced over the phone from a description or a few photos. For larger cleanouts, we offer free, no-obligation on-site estimates to get the number right.
Is there anything you won't haul?
Hazardous materials like liquid paint, solvents, gasoline and pool chemicals can't ride in a mixed load. Latex paint cans that have dried out are usually okay. Let us know what you have when you call and we'll tell you exactly what we can take.
Should I bring everything to the curb?
No need. We carry items from wherever they sit in your home, basements, attics and upstairs bedrooms included. If you want to stage things in the carport or driveway, that can speed up the job and may bring the price down.
Where do the hauled items end up?
Furniture in good condition goes to donation when possible. Metal from grills, bed frames and appliances is recycled as scrap once any refrigerant is recovered. The rest goes to a proper transfer or disposal site, never a roadside pile.
How quickly can you get here?
Same-day and next-day service is available, depending on the schedule and how big the job is. Call and we'll give you your price along with the earliest open slot.

How We Run a Job

Junk removal pricing is often vague until the truck is half full. We put the scope and the price on paper first, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

The estimate lists the items
Your estimate names what we're removing, such as a sleeper sofa, a chest freezer, or twelve contractor bags of drywall scrap. If it isn't on the list, we ask before we add it.
Price factors are spelled out
We explain why the price is what it is: the volume in the truck, heavy materials like concrete or plaster, stairs, and any items that need special disposal. You can drop an item to bring the cost down before we start.
No add-ons at the curb
We don't add fees for stairs, carrying distance, or sweeping up after we see the job. Those are figured into the price you already approved. Our pricing is upfront with no hidden fees.
We protect the path out
Old dressers shed veneer, and fridges leak water from the drain pan. We pad door frames and lay down floor protection where heavy pieces travel through your home.
Honest about what we can't take
Liquid paint, solvents, fuel, and some chemicals can't go in a mixed load. We tell you on the call instead of leaving them behind without saying anything.
